Privacy notice for buyers

This notice explains what happens to the personal data you give us when you send a sourcing request on osbradar.com/en, and when manufacturers send you offers. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

Who is responsible

OSB Radar is operated by OSB Gündem, the data controller for the data described here. The operator's registered name and address will be published on this page. For any privacy question or request, write to our contact form.

What we collect

• Your request: product, details, quantity, HS code, your country, delivery country and deadline.
• Your contact details: company name, your name, business email and, if you give it, your website.
• Your consent: the time you agreed to share your request and contact details.
• Abuse prevention: a one-way scrambled code (hash) of your network address, used only to limit the number of requests per day. We do not store the address itself.

Manufacturers outside Türkiye who join the waitlist give us their company name, country, what they manufacture and a business email. We use these only to contact them if OSB Radar opens for their country, and delete them on request.

You do not need an account, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies on this page.

How we use it and why

• Publishing your request to manufacturers in Türkiye and matching it with suitable companies. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1) explicit consent).
• Showing your contact details to OSB Radar Premium members (manufacturers with a membership) so that they can send you offers. Legal basis: your consent.
• Emails about your request: confirmation, publication notice and the offers manufacturers send through OSB Radar. Legal basis: taking steps at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Preventing spam and abuse with the network address hash and editorial review. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the service reliable (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).

Who can see it

• All OSB Radar members see the product content of your request, your country and your company name.
• OSB Radar Premium members additionally see your name, email and website. When a manufacturer contacts you, it becomes a separate controller of the data it uses for that contact.
• Our editors see everything, to review requests.
• Service providers who process data for us under contract:

Transfers outside your country: your request is shown to companies in Türkiye, and some providers are in the United States. Transfers rely on your consent and, for the providers, on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards (GDPR Chapter V; KVKK Art. 9).

How long we keep it

• Your name, email and website: deleted 24 months after you send the request, or earlier if you ask. The product content of the request may stay on OSB Radar without your personal details.
• Offers sent to you through OSB Radar: our copy is deleted after 24 months.
• Requests we do not publish: deleted after 90 days.
• Network address hash: deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable form. You can withdraw your consent at any time: we then remove your request from OSB Radar and delete your contact details. Withdrawal does not affect contacts made before it. Write to our contact form; we answer within 30 days.

You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in the EU, the data protection authority of your country; in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu).

Automated processing

We use AI to translate your request into Turkish and to suggest suitable manufacturers. This does not produce decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you: an editor approves each request, and manufacturers decide themselves whether to contact you.
